"Give, and it will be given to you.
Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap.
For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you."
Luke 6:38
Give Righteously!

Thank You For Your Generosity!
The Power of Giving
Does your handout help or hurt the person that you're handing it too?

Fentanyl
It is 50 times stronger that heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine.
Rainbow fentanyl is brightly colored and can be found in many forms, including pills, powdered, and can look like candy.
Deaths from fentanyl and other drugs has been rising.
Pretty Colored Fentanyl to Lure Kids But Still Deadly
THE UNHOUSED As some politicians are calling it but we see tents everywhere we go today, here in California the cost has been over 17,5 Billion dollars and it hasn't made a difference.

People are bacially kindhearted and want to help those standing on the street asking for money or food, this is what many homeless do daily. We see them and wonder if giving them money would help them, you'll help some of course and it does give you the satisfaction of giving to those in need.
But unfortunately many will buy drugs with the money that you give them.
What if the money you handed to someone—money you genuinely intended to help with—was used to buy fentanyl, and God forbid, they overdosed and passed away?
You would probably never know.
If you want the peace of mind that your generosity is truly helping rather than unintentionally causing harm, please consider donating to those who have been tested clean and sober through our services. Your support will go to individuals who are actively working to stay on the right path, ensuring your handout helps rather than hurts.
My name is Kelly, and I want to focus on what I believe is the real issue behind the growing number of people experiencing homelessness today. Everyone’s story is different, of course, but while many politicians point to a lack of affordable housing, that isn’t the main cause in most cases. A major driver today is drug addiction—especially the rise of fentanyl.
Simply put, when someone is struggling with addiction, it becomes nearly impossible to maintain steady employment. Without employment, they can’t keep up with rent or meet basic daily needs.
What I’m trying to address is how we can actually HELP in a meaningful way. After all, that’s what we all want, isn’t it?
So the next time you see someone on the street asking for a handout and you give them money out of kindness, hoping it might help even a little—that generosity is admirable. But the sad reality is that, in many cases, the money ends up going toward more drugs. That means your good intentions may unintentionally enable the addiction and deepen the problem.
It’s important to look at the situation logically, not through rose‑colored glasses. For example, when someone stands on a freeway off‑ramp holding a sign saying they’re hungry, it’s worth asking: if food were truly the immediate need, wouldn’t it make more sense to be near a restaurant or grocery store? In many cases, what they really want is money to support their addiction. And because of that addiction, many cannot stay in shelters, which prohibit drug use or being under the influence.
If you truly want to help someone—and know for certain that your help is making a positive difference—this is where Honest Handouts comes in. We ensure your donation goes to individuals who are clean, sober, and genuinely working to rebuild their lives. Your support helps them meet real needs, not fuel harmful habits.
Give today to Honest Handouts so we can get your generosity into the hands of those who will use it for the right reasons.
Sincerely, Kelly
